How do I log in

Request a sign-in link on the login page. An email arrives with the link—click it to log in.

I don’t get the login email - what do I do?

If the email doesn’t arrive, check spam/junk or any other email folder. Still nothing? Use the “resend sign-in link” option or contact support at min@sverigeforunhcr.se

How do I change user name

Go to your profile, remove the current name, and add a new one. This name will appear on any new fundraisers unless overridden.

How do I change my contact preference?

In your user profile, you can customise donation notification frequency (instant, daily, weekly) or disable them entirely. For all other emails and SMS press the unsubscribe link.

How do I delete all my data with you?

You can delete your user account and data through your user profile.

Create

How do I create a fundraising page?

Click “Start fundraising,” pick a project (or event if one exists), choose a fundraiser type, and complete the required fields.

Can I create a draft page and publish it later?

You publish immediately. Your fundraising page is though hidden from Google until it has received donations.

Do I always need a goal?

Almost always. All fundraisers need a goal, except in-memory/tribute fundraisers which don’t.

What happens at end date?

Nothing. You can still accept donations and your fundraising page is still available. You need to actively finish your fundraising page before it closes for donations and is made unavailable.

What fundraiser type should I pick?

Pick the type matching your purpose. If a company, choose 'Company' and add required info - please also pick company even if you are doing e.g. a sports or birthday fundraiser as a company.
For personal causes, select birthday, anniversary, tribute, cultural, sports or standard.

What is the best advice on sharing my fundraising page?

Share directly with your friends and family. Social media posts are easily overlooked.

Instead write a message to e.g. all your colleagues, and another one to old school friends, and a third to the football team and so forth.
Use email, SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger or any other messaging service.

How do I share my page on social media?

In fundraiser tools, click the social media icon for Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, SMS, or others to share. Or just copy the link and share that.

The image on Facebook isn’t the correct one?

Update your fundraiser image and clear Facebook’s cache using the Sharing Debugger: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

The image shared will be the additional image you can add when editing your fundraising page, and if not present then the banner image set by us.

How do I find QR code for my fundraising page?

Fundraiser tools include several QR codes that link to your page. Alternatively find them by appending /qr to your fundraising page URL.

What is the live screen TV sharing?

A 16:9 view of your page that updates in real-time—ideal for TV display.

Manage

How do I edit my text and headline

When logged in, and on your fundraising page, click “edit fundraiser” to change text, headline, goal, and other settings.

How do I edit the person listed as the creator

Edit the fundraiser page and update the 'Name shown' field to change who appears as creator.

How do I add a profile image

On the fundraising page, add the profile image directly from your fundraising page. If replacing, remove the old one first.

Can I add additional images

Yes. When editing the fundraiser you can add an additional image below the main description. Alternatively you can add a link to a video you want to be shown.

How can I write a message to all my donors?

You can create a status update on your fundraising page. To do this navigate to recent activity on your fundraising page while logged in.
All donors will be notified that there is a new update on the page.

How do I thank my donors?

In fundraiser tools, you can individually thank donors or send one update to all. Thank-you messages will be shown publicly below each donation in the activity stream on your fundraising page.
Thank you messages are also send by email to the donors.

How do I delete or finish my fundraiser

On your fundraising page while logged in, open 'More options' to close or delete your page.

What is the difference between finishing and deleting my fundraiser?

Deleting your fundraiser will delete it and all related data for good. Finishing will merely disable donations and hide it from overview pages.
Choose the latter if you want to be able to go back and find it in the future. Both actions are non-reversible.

Why doesn’t my own donation show as a self-donation

Self-donations only show if made with the same email as your fundraiser profile. Contact support at min@sverigeforunhcr.se if you need help.

What is the fundraiser coach?

An AI-powered assistant that gives you suggestions on how to personalise and edit your fundraising page at the right time.

I don’t want tips and tricks, can I unsubscribe?

Yes, you can adjust email settings in your user profile for how often you want notifications on new donations. For all other emails and SMS simply unsubscribe using the link.

Donation

I didn’t get a receipt can you send it?

Contact support at min@sverigeforunhcr.se to get a new receipt sent. Preferably from the email that you used when donating.

I’m trying to donate, but I’m having trouble, what to do?

Check your payment details, try another method, or contact support at min@sverigeforunhcr.se
